Radio Gebey Hayot is a Christian media ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and providing faithful biblical teaching to Tigre-speaking communities. Through shortwave radio, satellite television, and digital media, we seek to make the message of the Gospel accessible to Tigre-speaking listeners wherever they may be.

Radio Gebey Hayot exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Tigre-speaking communities, inviting listeners to hear and consider its message, believe in and follow Jesus Christ, and grow in their faith through faithful biblical teaching. We also seek to encourage believers to share their faith with others, extending the message of the Gospel across communities and geographic boundaries.

Why Tigre?

Tigre is spoken primarily in Eritrea and also in parts of eastern Sudan. Beyond its native speakers, Tigre is understood and used across a number of communities in the region, giving it an important role in communication among diverse groups.

By broadcasting in Tigre, Radio Gebey Hayot can communicate the Gospel and biblical teaching in a language understood by people across different communities and geographic areas. This enables the ministry to serve both native Tigre speakers and others who use or understand the language.
